Hope you had a great 4th of July if you are a gringo ๐ My street had a block party. I’m very fortunate to have such amazing and cool neighbors! One family was BBQ’ing, another family had set up a waterslide for the kids, people brought sides and I brought desserts. Got a kiss from the doggo across the street, To be clear, that is his tongue, not mine!
Everyone was hanging out and in the evening there were fireworks. Luckily Hunter is not bothered by them and he hung out all night by the garage watching them go off like they were farts. All the neighbors on the street know him and of course adore him!

I think the late night and all the ruckus took a toll on Hunter though as he was pretty much passed out all day the next day… He actually is pretty passed out most days when I think about it…
Unfortunately my shoulders are not doing any better. Tried laser, but maybe need more sessions? Feels like I tried everything. Hot and cold patches, CBD cream, stretching with a rubber band, but every night they are pretty painful ๐ I think I’ll try to find an acupuncture place next!
There was some rain and clods here last week ,so I took the opportunity to go on walks in the morning a couple of days. Great way to wake up and I met a lot of happy dogs. Since I grew up with Rottweilers I had to snap a couple of pics of this handsome guy!
Talking about dogs. Last week Angel had to send her mama dog Henny to doggo heaven. So sad as they are family! Henny was the sweetest lady and howled if you didn’t scratch her belly or give her attention. We talked Henny memories and looked at pictures of her. Most of them were of Henny sleeping with her head on Angel ๐
They had a very special connection… RIP Henny! You will be missed… Sad days need chocolate, so we wolfed down a Nutella pizza!
The next day when I went to Costco I saw this pallet of Nutella and had to use all my willpower to walk past it without grabbing 5 of them! Why can’t Nutella be healthy?!?!
Even though I can’t lift anything, I tried to keep my cardio going with some leg exercises…
Then there is the skimpy stuff cause you can’t skimp on that! Is skimp a word? It is now otherwise…
Another day at Angel’s house with Kayla making some cheese for us and some pool time until it started raining…
Hope you enjoyed your weekend and rested up so you are ready to stir sh*t up next week ๐ I don’t have too many plans other than rehabbing my shoulder and a pool party next weekend.

Yeah, great weekend! How was yours? I got cortisone shots in my shoulders yesterday and they feel like 95% good now ๐ Just have to make sure I rehab them properly now, but I’m very happy!

Unfortunately, we were dealing with a family emergency for the past few weeks. My son was seriously injured swimming in the ocean.
He was paralyzed briefly. Underwent emergency surgery to remove bone fragments that were compressing his spinal cord. Thankfully, heโs doing much better but our July 4th was spent with him in a spinal rehab facility. We were happy to be with him and we are so grateful for his rapid recovery.

It was a great 4th thank you. Just thinking back to the days when I used to party my ass off, but I rarely have the energy for that any more hahhaaa…
I love outfits for occasions and one neighbor mom liked my skirt so much that I gave it to her after the party ๐
So sad when we have to let our furry family members move on ๐ Luckily she has 3 of Henny’s daughters to keep her busy still ๐

Hi, sweet puma ๐ญI’ve had surgery. It lasted over 6 hours. I slept three times as long. I have a headache and I keep asking for painkillers. It’s a shame your second profession isn’t nursing. I’d have a sexy nurse and you’d give me intravenous sweets ๐ Stay warm and have some fun for me, especially at the gym. For now, I’ll be taking a forced break from sports ๐ญ
Oh wow, that’s a long surgery and you probably needed the rest/sleep after! I can fake a nurse pretty good and have a couple of skimpy outfits ๐ I can probably at least supply you with painkillers and I’m virtually sending you all the sweet treats I can think of ๐ You rest up now and recover. The gym and sports will be there when you are recovered! Thank you for keeping me posted and and wishing you the speediest recovery in history!
