Last day…

…before Christmas Eve. I’m in Sweden now and we expect Santa Claus to show up tomorrow, the 24th! Since it’s a well known fact that Santa is from Korvatunturi in Finland, he probably handles the Nordic countries before he deals with the rest of the world 😉 OK, before I jump to Christmas, I’ll share some Puerto Rican happening first… I just haven’t had the time between Tulum and Sweden.

We were all very grateful for good health and delicious food on Thanksgiving. Oh, it was nice to dress up a little too and be a bit fancy-pants for once. We ate at the restaurant 1919 at Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. One of my favorite meals is always a beef tartar and this one was superb! Sat outside after taking in the views of the ocean and big waves.

Since the gyms in PR now only are allowed to run at a 30% capacity, we taken to work out in the park. It’s sunny pretty much 360 days of the year in PR, you always get to work on your gains (and tan) in the sun. I also enjoy the big lizards that come really close to inspect on you.

By chance I also came across a yoga studio. I really liked when we did yoga in Mexico and I am always in the need of more mobility and stretching. A very chill place with great people. In some places people are so advanced, standing on their heads and shit, I feel like I’m there by a mistake. This place suits me perfect as it mostly pretty basic yoga moves and no one asks me to stand on my head!

Rented paddled boards one day too and went out on the lagoon. I love the Puerto Ricans who strap coolers and containers on their boards and then have a picnic on the water. One day I will try this out with a pizza and a couple of local Medalla beers! A couple will be enough or I’ll fall off the board 🙂

Of course there’s not a week without me creating content.

Sometimes I’m bad at exploring the places closest to me. Always think I have to cross the globe to find something new and exciting. Took a walk and never knew there was a beautiful walkway around the fort in Old San Juan. WOW. The best part is that there are so many cats there. A local cat sanctuary feeds them here and some of them are super friendly and come up to you. I wish I could take them all home with me!

Since I was in this exploring mood, we also tried a new restaurant close to us where we’ve never been. It’s called Jungle Bird and it’s this funky little place. They always update their menu, hence the menu written on boards they bring to you. Same with the drinks, so you most likely get to try something new if you go back. I definitely will 🙂

Couple of more selfies. Can’t waste the opportunity when you got your face paint on 🙂

It’s been busy days here in Sweden. Shooting for the new project which we plan to launch fully in January. More info coming, but please follow us on Instagram ~ @pussitive_

Will try to squeeze in one more post before 2020 ends. I had a week in LA before Sweden, some Christmas pics and probably some other randomness 🙂 Now off to get in Xmas spirit 🙂

Wish you all the very best! Stay naughty cause it’s so much more fun 😉

Tulum, Mexico

It is a couple of weeks late, but here is a report from my trip to Tulum. I have to say it reminds me a lot of Canggu in Bali, but 10 times more pricey. It felt a little ridiculous to pay $20 for 3 tacos with barely any toppings in Mexico… the land of tacos! Heading into Tulum city though, 20-30 min in a cab from the beach, and you get the best street tacos for 30 cents! We stayed in an Airbnb by the beach on the strip where all of the hotels and restaurants are. The beaches where super nice even though we had a lot of rain.

We arrived on Halloween, downed some food & Tequila, and went to a party. Me as Mia Wallace and Andrew as Vincent Vega 🙂

The next day was pretty much spent recovering on the beach with Sangria 🙂

I love Mexican food, and here are my top picks if you’re heading to Tulum:

Breakfast at Real Coconut Tulum. All gluten-free place with everything cooked in coconut oil and a beautiful ocean view.

Right across from our place, there was this great little spot – Los Bowls de Guadalupe. Super good bowls and smoothies, and perfect to watch people stroll by 🙂

Lunch at Frescos. Wow, the ceviches and fried crab tacos!

Like I said, the street vendors in Tulum City have the best street tacos! They didn’t have any by the beach, but you find them in the city.

Also in the city was the best coffee place Ki’Bok Coffee. Tried other places too, but this was the best if you’re into specialty coffee. They had great food and wifi so you can work there.

While in the city, eat at Humo. Nice atmosphere and good food. And drinks 🙂

When it comes to dinner, in the city, definitely try Tu. Wow, the food and drinks! Last pic of me when I’m stuffed and semi drunk after trying too many things off the drink list hahhaaaaa…

By the beach I liked Casa Banana. Big portions and tasty. I did take a pic of my whole grilled fish, but it doesn’t do this place justice, so I spare you of the dead fish pic…

And they have the best bread/bakery shops. Me at night suffocating myself with a chocolate croissant yummy!

Talking about pictures. I found this awesome photographer in Tulum and we went out shooting one day. I wish I always looked this good for real 🙂

One other popular thing in Tulum is yoga. Dozens of places. This one was at a fancy spa called Yäan Wellness. Ashleigh and I did some down-dogs and felt relaxed and yogi-ish after. Great place!

Saved one of the best things for last. Booked a Mescal tasting with a 3-course dinner through Airbnb. WOW! Hosted by a couple at their house and the food and Mescal was just so good! If you want to book, they are also on IG @cocina.selva. Oh, they had a couple of super friendly dogs too that chilled with us 🙂

Here comes some more random pics of heavy rain, me, more me, cute dog at the airport, cute cat at a restaurant, me and some more randomness 🙂

That’s about it from Tulum. I do believe I’ll go stay in Mexico City next year for a couple of months 🙂

Adios, Puma

Just back from…

…Tulum, Mexico. As usual I have too many pictures I need to go through, but will tell you all about my trip in next post 🙂 The week before Mexico we went sailing on a big sail boat. Or at least it felt big 🙂 We had a wooden sail/motor boat when I was a kid. I loved being out on the ocean, but hated scraping the fish eggs off the hull when you stored it in winter. This was a more modern sailboat and I even got to attempt to sail it. It ended up making a 360 degree loop that was called something similar to ‘the -ultimate – failure’ in sailor terms…

I left the sailing to the owner of the boat and did what I do best 😉

I now put ‘living/cruising’ on a boat for a longer time on my bucket list. Someone else obviously driving the boat and navigating or f*ck knows where in the world I’d end up hahhaaaaa… I could also settle for driving around somewhere in an RV and living in it for a time. I know I could navigate that with Google maps at least 🙂

Grabbed a taco dinner with the Russian & Frenchie!

Shot my share of fantasies, custom videos and whatever else came to my mind 🙂

Had to snap a couple of pics when I’m dressed in something else besides lingerie or a bikini. I think my ratio on wearing bikinis/lingerie vs regular clothes is about 50/50.

Thought I’d start working outdoors at least once a week. Work on those gains and tan at the same time. And I got this cool green spectator too…

I remember I promised to write about some books I have read. I’ve been a bit obsessed with the books by Tim Dorsey. I love the main characters Serge A. Storms and Coleman. They are hilarious and they’re kind of the male versions of Thelma & Louise, but funnier. But now I’ve decided to take brake from them and read some other stuff. All the books below I rate 4/5 Pumas!

Read these in Utah. Lonesome Dove – WOW! If you want a great western, this is it! I almost put it down though cause it was so slow in the beginning. Then I googled reviews and they said to give it 100 pages and you’d be hooked. So true and I ended up loving this book! 5/5 Pumas!

I read Charles Bukowski’s, Post Office, in one day. It just felt amazing that the main character – Henry Chinaski, kept on trudging through his days when it all just seemed so hard and hopeless. But I really enjoyed the writing and cheered for Henry. 4/5 Pumas!

An other book on the funny side – Me Talk Pretty One Day. Short stories from David Sedaris’ life that are written funny and makes you laugh. Not as funny and dirty as Chelsea Handler’s books, but I give it 4/5 Pumas.

This one, The Hard Goodbye by Chris Miller, I just recently finished. Super good plot, exciting read and you want to keep reading. The writing was a bit simple and cliche at some points though, so I only give 3,5/5 Pumas.

Another great book by Dennis Lehane – Since We Fell. It’s not one of his highest rated books, but I really liked it. Actually this is the 2nd time I read it, because I forgot I read it once before. There are some good twists and there could be a bit more action, but still 4 out of 5 Pumas 🙂

Interesting read – Open Borders by Bryan Caplan and Zach Weinersmith. It’s like a comic book layout and gives good points about the possibility of open borders. As one review about the book points out – ‘Open Borders makes the case for unrestricted immigration easy to follow and hard to deny.’ I think this would be a great book for the decision-makers in Sweden to read and get some clues from 😉 4/5 Pumas.

Ordered a bunch of new books and just started reading The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben. A very good start so far 🙂

Gonna eat something else besides tacos now and enjoy the rest of my Sunday. Hope you are doing the same!

Kisses, Puma

My New Project

I finally figured that there’s no ‘right time’ to start this. I can try to perfect it and have more stuff figured out, but f*ck it – let’s go 🙂 There will be trial and error (there already has been), but I bitch a little, move on, and learn.

Soooo, I’m launching a clothing brand. I know, I’m not exactly known to wear a lot of fabric, but when I do, I like it to be cool. I’m doing this with my sister, whom I’ll introduce more closely later on. One of us is more prone to attention than the other one hahhaaaa…

The concept is that we take new as well as old & vintage clothes and pimp them out. Instead of throwing it out, we remake it. By adding color, patches, bling, feathers, embrodery, fringe or whatever else it might be, we revamp it to something that we think looks more snazzy. Or more ‘off the mainstream’ and not so ‘lagom’ as the Swede’s like to use. ‘Lagom’ means ‘just enough’ and that’s not our motto with these pieces of clothing.

We have a name and right now we’re working on finalizing pieces to reveal and launch. My guess is that it will be launched on Instagram and here first. There will be a website, but none of us is very keen on building one at the moment.

So with this I want to welcome you to my new venture/experiment/endeavor. I try to be modest, but my brain always rushes ahead and I see fashion shows, a store (or several) and designing clothing from scratch. A success story I guess you could call it. Nothing to lose, so here we go! Here’s some pics of ongoing work…

My YouTube channel will be relaunched with videos of all of this too. There can’t be enough of Puma, right?

Kisses, Puma

Back on the grind

Haven’t checked in here for a bit as I’ve been busy being productive on some other things. Even though I always have the feeling of ‘I could or should do more’, I like how things have been going lately. I’m working on a new project now. It’s something entirely different and new for me. I hope to include it here on my blog so you can follow my progress 🙂 Been filming for it as I hope to document my results on video.

My choice of relaxing after work is going to the beach, and Puerto Rico has a lot to offer. Here are pics from one of my favorite beaches here, Playa Piñones, with my favorite Russian and Frenchie 🙂 Even threw down a couple of squats and push-ups just to show off…

The second time with Masha that we’ve gotten a flat-tire on the way home. Luckily there was a shop really close, and 10 minutes later we rolled out with a brand new tire!

When I just want a quick dip, I walk down to the lagoon in the middle of the city here. No waves and perfect spot to read and relax. Or just float around in between a set of giant lips lol…

Shot a bunch and I think my favorite was playing a maid. Not to be confused that I’d actually be a good maid, just great at playing one 😉

And variety makes it more fun. Got a favorite?

Been consistent with the gym too. A bit hard to work out with a mask on, but I rather do that than not be able to work out at all… If I could by gains off Amazon I would lol 😉

Got to make sure to indulge in those calories & carbs too. Favorite spot for weekend brunch is Tostado. These pumpkin pancakes with all of the extras check the requirements on the nutrition list – NOT! But soooo goooood!

Other than beaching, creating content, and working out I’ve finished 2 books. Since I love reading and have read some other great books, I’ll make it my priority to include them in my next post here 🙂

Oh, also cops came by us twice. We usually keep the front door open to let air in, and all of a sudden 2 cops in full gear appeared at the door. They were looking for someone named Jose, that’s supposed to live at our address. Told them no Jose here, and they left. The next day 2 other cops show up asking for Jose again. Still no Jose and since then, no more cops… Puh, thought they were finally coming to get me 😉

Some leftover pics. I got a salmon cooking and got to eat, so adios for now 🙂

Back in Puerto Rico

Hello Puerto Rico, heat, and jetlag. It’s always a couple of days of readjustment time when you come back here. Especially since it was getting colder in Sweden, the heat right hooks you in the face! Oh, and back on with the face masks. But other than that, it’s great to be back and have summer again 🙂

Some pics from Sweden. Here having some birthday brunch at Grand Hotel in Stockholm.

After __ glasses of Champagne it felt like a great idea to take some bathroom selfies with Karina. Only person behaving in these pics is Uma Thurman on my t-shirt hahahaaa…

Karina bought a horse and I went to the stable to see if I still had my horse skills. I think I do… Only managed to get stepped on, and now I have a blue toe. But hey, no one died…

You don’t take a pic of it, it didn’t happen. So here’s my proof that I went to the gym more times than a bar or a club. Usually it’s the opposite!

When you try to claim you’re a blond, you better be a little bit more convincing than me! But now I’m back being a blond 🙂

Talked about sex and hopefully get to go on TV and talk more about it. I believe the youth need proper education about sex, and not just have porn as their education.

And of course there was the smut.

That lasted until the cat stepped in and said there was one pussy too many in the picture now…

And these are the leftovers. Me, Andrew, big ass seagull, cute dog at the cafe, coffee and nature.

Hope you all are doing great. Last quarter of this year. Time to get all your sh*t together and finish strong 🙂 Or at least that’s my plan. You have one?

Kisses, Puma

It was my birthday!

I celebrated a little yesterday that I’ve made it one more year 🙂 It was my nephews’ birthday yesterday as well. Usually I’m abroad at this time of year, so yesterday was the first time in a long time that we could spend our birthday together. Hip hip hooray to us 🙂

The past week has mostly been about organizing things for moms’ funeral. Going through her papers and taking care of practical things. A lot of times we get stuck looking at old photographs or remembering a story about something she has at home. I love wearing her old sweater that still smells of her…

I guess this is life. Celebrating a birthday and ‘making it’ another year, as well as having to say goodbye and letting go of someone else. Happiness, sadness, laughter and crying… I’m trying to be better at letting the people in my life that I care about, know that. To celebrate even smaller things more often. You never know what the future brings…

Here comes some pics. First up is this funny horse. Went to the stable with my friend Karina. I used to ride when I was younger and still love horses. This horse seemed to have some love(?) for me too LOL…

https://videopress.com/v/4Zs7aMzh?preloadContent=metadata

Had a night with tapas, wine & girlfriends… Why Linda is on the floor on her knees, I don’t know…

Like America’s Next Top Model, but more sleezy LOL…

Pretending to do laundry in a skimpy outfit. Yeah right.

One of my favorite places, outdoors. Supposedly there’s mushrooms out there now. I found 6 chanterelles. Hello, where did they all go? But we had coffee and ‘fika’ so we were happy anyways!

I had a 6 month check up on my boobs. Looked like they should the doctor said. Nipples pointing in the same direction LOL… Just me wishing they were bigger, but apparently I’m supposed to be content now. Enough is enough the doctor always says to my deaf ears…

I’m getting ready for the gym, getting some new lashes, and hopefully a spray tan. Typical productive Monday for me.

Hugs, Puma

R.I.P Mom

My mom passed away on Tuesday. I’m writing this mostly for myself trying to process this and thinking of our loving mom. It is still unbelievable to understand that she will no longer be with us. Feels like I can still pick up the phone and call her. I do believe that she somehow still is checking in on us, and is present in one form or another, not just in our thoughts. I was smoking on the balcony this morning and saw a big seagull on a roof across the street looking around. As we noticed each other, it spread its wings and flew away. Maybe that was mom just letting me know she was still around. Or maybe she tried to tell me to quit the damn cigarettes already!

Our mom was at the hospital for the past two weeks. She had been at home before then with some health issues. It was finally decided that she needed more treatment at a hospital. We all felt happy that they could get her more help there, and hopefully be pain free as well as regain her strength and then come back home. With Corona we were not allowed to visit her, but talked on the phone often. We kept our hopes up, but when you are old, recovery is slower. They treated her, but other symptoms and concerns arose, and she was getting weaker.

On Monday night her doctor called and said we should come visit her at the hospital. They would arrange a private room to prevent us from being in contact with any other patients due to Corona. We understood then it was serious. Visits at the hospital are only allowed if the patient might not make it. It was me, my sister, nephew and his girlfriend. We tried to be strong for her, but it’s impossible to not cry when someone you love is at this stage. Mom said she was not in any pain which felt important. She was happy to see us all there. Then they said they were taking her for some more x-rays. They told us we better go home and they would contact us if anything happened. We talked with the nurses and doctor during night time. Mom was not getting better, but was stable. We were told we could come back in the morning.

On Tuesday, as soon as we woke up, we left for the hospital. Her doctor came in and said they were going to attempt a surgery. We were informed that since she was so weak, she might not wake up after the anesthesia. Still, this was the best option. We were told to go have a coffee and be back in 2 hours. As we came back they said mom was waking up from her anesthesia. They arranged a private room for mom and allowed us to be with her when she was waking up. They informed us that she was now in a serious stage and very weak. She wouldn’t even make it back to her room anymore. We held her hands and hugged her. Told her we were there and would stay by her side. That she could relax and that she would have no more pain now…

But mom wasn’t ready to kick it just yet. She was wheeled back to her room. The doctor told us that mom would slowly fall asleep and her heart would then stop beating. They gave her morphine to make sure there was in no pain. Mom was very peaceful, and we sat by her talking and telling her how much we love her. What an amazing mom and grandma she is. Her breathing slowed down and she looked like she was sleeping. I told my sister I think she took her last breath then. She was still and had a peaceful expression on her face. Right then she took another breath. It was like she told us -”hey, don’t count me out just yet…”. Even though it was such a sad moment, it made us laugh in the middle of it. But that was it… Mom was now traveling to other horizons and no travel restrictions could stop her 🙂 We sat with her for some time having the feeling she would all of a sudden open her eyes. That this was not real…

The nurses said they would take all equipment and bandages off her. We could step out for a moment, but could come back in a bit. As we stepped out of the hospital, there was a beautiful sunset. Perfect time for mom to go to her next place…

We got back and there was a light and an angel on a table next to mom. Mom looked as if she was calmly sleeping. We said our final goodbyes….

Love you Mom, and thank you for always being there for me! Loving me unconditionally. I keep thinking of all the memories and good times with you. What a fighter you were, and I think I inherited some of your stubbornness. I miss you so much, but I’m happy you are pain free now!

See you in the future…

Hiking in Sweden

Came back this past Sunday from a 3 day hike up in Jämtland. WOW! Such beautiful nature and fresh air. I went with my sister and Karina. We took the night train on Wednesday evening and had our own ‘room’ with beds.

We arrived to our destination Thursday morning and a bus took us to the trail. All geared up and very eager to get going!

The trail started uphill and we realized pretty fast we need to stop put shorts on. Then we hiked on and took coffee breaks, lunch stop, reindeer watching and just taking in the beautiful views.

Add a couple of pee-stops. I felt I had a Kodak moment where I wanted to take a selfie. Karina felt like she had an other kind of moment in the background at the same time hahahaaaa….

The weather changed the whole day. It was cloudy, some rain, windy and later on we got sun. Found a perfect spot by a river for some Champagne and I went swimming. Or more like, got in – got out, of the water. Put a bikini on? F*ck no! Outdoors and nature require no such thing!

Hiked 16km to the lodge Sylarna, where we stayed overnight. Two course dinner with some drinks was a perfect ending to our first day.

Second day hike was 19km to Blåhammaren. The views along the way are incredible.

In the afternoon when the sun was shining I rinsed off in a river. Dried off on a rock like a mermaid lost in the mountains…

People bring all kinds of essentials for hiking. Our only essential was Champagne. My sisters face says it all hahahaaaa…

After the last kilometers being uphill we were happy to reach Blåhammaren lodge. Ate an amazing 3 course dinner with fish and reindeer, perfectly combined with wine pairing 🙂

Stretching is important… I also drew the shortest stick, so I slept on a mattress on the floor while Karina and my sis slept in a bunk bed. Thanks a lot guys!

3rd and last day the hike was 12km. It was colder, but as long as the Champagne didn’t freeze, no complaints hahahaaa…

In the afternoon the bus took us back to the train. Got pizza at the local spot before the train back. We devoured the pizza before the train even took off hahahaaaa…

And after sleeping on the train back to Stockholm, we arrived like a fresh bunch at 7am 🙂

We all agreed that this was a super fun trip together. We all wished it would’ve lasted a couple of more days. Highly recommend hiking Jämtlandstriangeln (the Jämtland Triangle). You don’t need any previous experience as the hikes are pretty easy. Only suggest to invest in a decent pair of hiking shoes, back pack and a jacket and pants that can handle rain and wind. Oh, and Champagne 😉

Check out my friend Karina’s travel blog too for more info – https://reseaventyr.se/2020/08/21/vandra-jamtlandstriangeln/

Cheers, Puma

Wroooooom…

Feels like the days here in Sweden fly by faster than I can say IKEA. All of a sudden an other week gone by and it’s already August! Almost Christmas! And my birthday and I get older! Holy shit! OK, maybe a bit dramatic, it’s all good hahaaahaaa….

Last weekend me & my friend Karina went kayaking for a weekend. Considered eventual disasters scenarios that we could encounter on the water. Like being run over by big boats, tipping over, the possibility of shitty weather which is like a 90% chance here in Sweden. We were in luck though! Stayed in our kayaks without being run over by boats and the sun was shining 🙂 We bought a 3 day package from Dalarö Kajak. Included everything (kayaks, tents, sleeping bags with thin mattress, camping kitchen) plus one night in a hotel with a 3 course dinner, breakfast buffet and lunch package.

Heading out. They required life vests even though I carry my own ‘floating devices’ 😉

After about 5h kayaking with a lunch stop, we found our own island to camp at the first night. This is not hard in the Swedish archipelago since there are a lot of small islands. Cooked some food, drank wine and dressed up. Who said camping can’t be glamorous? Then a magical sunset and after that the mosquitos came in herds. Only downfall…

Slept pretty good in the tent. It was a snug 2 person tent so you can forget about social distancing. The next day we spent on the island tanning and swimming. Ducks came by and had lunch with us 🙂

Around 3pm we jumped in our kayaks again and paddled to Smådalarö Gård. Super nice place and we went straight to the sauna. Karina is part Finn too, so sauna is like our second home! She has this particular style, or actually no style at all, when she jumps in the water LOL. Unfortunately I have to admit I’m no better and can’t dive… I just don’t post any proof of myself, just my friend, sorry Karina 😉

The dinner was so good and it felt like sleeping on clouds after a night in the tent 🙂

Stuffed ourself (or at least me) at breakfast. Literally…

Relaxed a bit and gathered our strength to paddle back. Well, I couldn’t resist a few selfies in the mirror before leaving…

If you visit Sweden, or are living here, I can highly recommend this trip! 10 out of 10. Great service, price and so much fun!

Karina is like a band aid. She can’t get enough of me 😉 So this weekend we were a few celebrating her birthday too…

I had the luxury of having my make up done by a couple of 12 year olds before dinner. I call the style Las-Vegas-sparkle. They just kept adding, but I must admit they did a pretty good job with what they had to work with hahhaaaaa…

This week there will be a 3 day hike at Jämtlandstriangeln. With Karina obviously, who else? My sister is coming too. I love hiking and I’m so excited about this! What you been up to?

Sunny greetings from Sweden! The sun is shining for now…
