OFTV, Smoking, Cats…

Let’s go October! I have had so much fun shooting for my OFTV and YouTube. Like I mentioned, Tyler Faith was in town and we shot 2 episodes. First we went axe and spear throwing at Fremont Street In Downtown. We laughed so hard and it was actually a bit harder than I though. Maybe the shots beforehand didn’t help LOL… At last no body parts were chopped off! Here you can watch it on OFTV – https://of.tv/v/cDVuT and here on Youtube – https://youtu.be/tke7brgiENk?si=n1QvJPnqTVUAj9fg

Then we also visited Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum in Boulder. Tom is still active in the movie business and this place has screen-used props, creature suits and monsters throughout movie history. I’ve driven by it a couple of times and always wanted to go inside, so this was perfect. I also used to watch a lot of horror movies. Tyler and I also tried out being scream queens hahahaa…. Cool place and definitely worth a visit. Here’s some pics and you can watch it here on YouTube – https://youtu.be/zrSWMGTBgNQ?si=shALBnliuzC_Gv3R

My visit to the newly opened Ice Cream Museum at Area 15 is also Live now. Here’s you can watch it on YouTube – https://youtu.be/t5i7IscAzU8?si=d3xSeTsA3jCpK_tY

This weeks shoots included a Swedish Meatball making class and then a visit to Rescued Treasures Cat Cafe. You paint pottery while mingling with cats that are adoptable. Would be a dream to adopt them all!!! Had the best time and I’ll let you know when it’s live 🙂

It didn’t stop there. We shot some other stuff too with Angel & Jennifer. I guess me & Tyler were put on a time out and in the dog crates!

Me, Tyler, Angel & Sandy will be at the Exxotica in New Jersey October 23nd – 25th in case you are in the area and want to mingle 🙂 Will be a blast!

We did lunch with Amanda who’s back in town for a bit. It was first time I tried fried chicken & waffles. Very weird combo to me and I prefer to indulge both separately! The pumpkin spice cinnamon bun was very delicious as a finisher!

Sooo, I was sugar free for about 3 weeks. Then I had a little taste of something and it spiraled out of control. With sugar it’s all or nothing for me. Making a new attempt starting today! But, I did eat some great and healthy stuff too. Smoked a lot of meats, tri tip, brisket, chuck roast and a pork putt. Made a delicious pork tenderloin in a cream sauce and there was also meatballs with mashed potatoes, gravy and lingonberries! If anyone is looking for healthy ready meals, I can really recommend Ice Age Meals. Super tasty! Then there was a Nutella pizza and some pizza dough filled with Nutella. But I read about healing with food while indulging LOL….

Of course there’s been pickleball. Last Monday we had to quit our league game after 3 games since it started pouring rain and the courts get super slippery. But Pam had bought us beignets and as you can see, we where happy campers 🙂

Yesterday we played the rest of our 3 games and me and Courtney won all of our 3 remaining matches – wohooo!!! And our team won in total too!

Tonight we have 6 new matches so cross fingers and toes por favor!

Came to the conclusion that I pay too much for my gym membership and use it too little. Goal is 3 gym sessions a week, but only made it twice a week so far 🙁

Received some birthday gifts too. A great big coffee mug, a hat and I now run Puma’s Coffee Shop 🙂 There was also a robe, socks, favorite soap and other stuff 🙂 I’m spoiled and love it hahahaaa….

Threw in some chill by the pool with Angel, Vixens big face, filled up my tires, found toilets on the street, took pickleball pics, spray tanned and a weird selfie up my nose! And do you know what the duck nailed to the tree branch means? Thought it was random, but it means exactly that – duck. Duck for the low hanging tree branch. AI told me cause I got curious…

Hunter has no complaints. Vet told me his poop sample came back clean so he is thriving, living life, napping and pooping clean!

Going to cook up some breakfast now and do some work before hopefully rocking at pickleball tonite! Wish you all a fantastic week ahead!

DMV, Pickleball Party, Sewing…

First up is the pics from last Sunday’s hike at Historic Railroad Trail with Angel. It didn’t start out too good because it was pouring down when we got close to the location. Sitting in the car at the parking lot, it slowed down and we decided to go for it because the worst that could happen was us getting wet… Not the first time that happens 😉

The trail has a bunch of tunnels you walk through. There were signs where you could read the history about the tunnels and the area when it was being developed. It also said that there are bats in tunnels at times! I really wanted to see one, but we didn’t spot any! Instead we tried to make a cool picture of us jumping, but that was all it was, a try hahhaaa… And the last tunnel we went through, smelled of piss. Decided that was enough and hiked back…

Both of us love food so looked up a restaurant in the small town Boulder City and found a great one called Fox BBQ. So good and their homemade peach cobbler with ice-cream was the bomb!

Took a stroll down the main street to try to digest a bit before the drive back. It’s a cute little town and it gets super busy on the weekends.

To try and get an appointment at the Department of Motor vehicles here in Vegas is not easy. I had to cancel a previous appointment, so my Drivers License had expired, plus I couldn’t renew it online since it’s a California license and I need a Nevada license now. On top of that I needed to register my car here and pay for a new registration in Nevada. Oh, also needed a RealID that they now require for travel. Angel had an appointment so we decided for me to just go with her and if there was a problem, we’d say we’re from Europe and you can just have one appointments for up to 3 people. Luckily we didn’t have to lie 🙂 The guy was nice and processed all my stuff too! Now I have Nevada plates, car is registered here and waiting for my new license and RealID! Shit got handled!

Finally tried my sewing machine out. I have learned from previous errors, to first try it out and see what problems you might run into before sewing the actual piece you are working on. Worked like a charm and soon I’ll be a part time seamstress 🙂 I feel like I’m doing age appropriate hobbies now; sewing, embroidery and painting. Soon I’ll be knitting LMAO!

A walk in the park! And please cross your fingers! Tomorrow I’m seeing a Rheumatologist and hope I’ll get some answers to all my pains and issues!

Too lazy to even get out of my car to go in and buy a coffee so just did the drive through window. Feel real American doing that 🙂 By the way, have you heard why American cars are automatic? So you can eat while you drive hahahaa… I’ve done that too!

Last night there was a lady from pickleball who had a little house party. So fun too see everyone and made me miss playing even more 🙁 But I’m hoping to be back playing soon! She even had a pickleball court in her backyard. I’d take that and a pool!

No, I didn’t skimp on work. I even played Vampirella with fake fangs, black wig, and all. Forgot to take pics, but Halloween is coming so just wait…

What else. I colored Angel’s hair one day too. Guess I got a bit carried away, but she still has hair on her head sooooo…

Her doggos are as attention craving as Hunter and always staying close by keeping an eye on mom 🙂

OK, so remember, fingers crossed tomorrow please 🙂 My plan is to be healed up when October is done, so this better work!

I’ll cross my fingers for you to have a fantastic week as well!
