Ice Cream Museum, The 4th, Killer Cat

Started the week by going to the Ice Cream Museum. It’s located at Area 15 and they had a special opening for friends and family, and Courtney had gotten tickets. Unfortunately at our time slot they had a power failure and said it would be an hour before we could get in. They gave us tickets to Interstellar Arc next door which is a VR experience. It was pretty cool. The last pics are from my VR headset that I took.

When we finally were let in to the ice cream museum, it was the next time slot so it got a bit crowded. Cool place and the ice cream was tasty, and worth the 30min wait in line 🙂 They had scoops, soft serve with a bunch of toppings, and regular cones and popsicles. Of course I tried it all! There is also a room where you can rent outfits from during your visit, a wedding chapel to get married at, and of course a bar plus some gambling.

We had a lot of fun and if you decide to visit, I recommend to look up less busy hours online before going unless you prefer crowds 😉

Per usual there was a lot of pickleball. We have lessons on Sunday’s with our league, played with Pam at Picklr for 3h, and even my 4th of July celebration started with pickleball at 7am 🙂 Our summer league starts tomorrow and hopefully we get a better placement than bronze this time 🙂

Enjoyed the BBQ and pool time at Angel’s with Jennifer and Sophie. The first pic is to tell you that it’s gross to smoke! Or something like that…. And next week I’m taking Sophie with me to try out pickleball 🙂

Visited a cool cafe in China Town called Gabi Coffee & Bakery for the first time. I love China Town. So many restaurants and cool spots there. I wonder how long it would take to try out every decent restaurant/cafe in Vegas? Not chain places like Popeyes, Starbucks etc… Anyone feel like doing some math? I got too curious and asked Gemini this: “How long would it take to try every restaurant/cafe in Las Vegas if you don’t include chain places like Starbucks, KFC, Mc Donalds etc. This is the answer:

According to recent industry tracking by Orbital, there are roughly 3,010 active restaurants in the Las Vegas metro area. Of those, about 432 operate multiple locations (chains).

That leaves 2,578 single-location, independent restaurants and cafes — the true local spots, fine dining rooms, and neighborhood gems.

Here is exactly how long it would take you to eat at all 2,578 of them, depending on your pace:The Timeline

  • Pace: 1 New Restaurant a Week (The “Weekend Warrior”)
    • Time: 49.5 years
    • The Reality: You would need to start this journey in your twenties to finish before retirement.
  • Pace: 1 New Restaurant a Day (The “Dedicated Foodie”)
    • Time: 7 years and 23 days
    • The Reality: A massive commitment, but physically possible if you treat eating out as your primary hobby.
  • Pace: 3 New Restaurants a Day (The “Full-Time Job”)
    • Time: 2 years, 4 months, and 7 days
    • The Reality: Eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner at a new independent restaurant every single day without a single break.

Doesn’t feel like a goal I need to achieve 🙂

How was your 4th of July? How did you spend it if you’re an American? Like I said, I started with pickleball for about 2h. In the evening I was out on our street watching fireworks that neighbors were firing off. I really have great neighbors. Met a new couple from the street over and they said they’ve seen Hunter and call him the Killer Cat. Almost offended until they explained that their dog, who normally is not scared of anything, gets scared if Hunter is out on the street and won’t pass him unless they cross the street hahahaaa… Made me secretly proud of him.

And the Killer Cat himself in action!

A little bit of work too…

My thrifting day in DTLV is out on OnlyFans TV. Totally safe to view at work 🙂 Here’s the link – https://of.tv/v/mqaWF

Got in a couple of walks this week, some filters I played around with and on a coffee run…

I hope you had a great week and that next week will be just as fabulous or even better!

Thank you for reading 🙂

Year of the Horse, Hair Fix, Pickleball…

Me and Amanda went to the Bellagio Hotel and checked out the decorations for Chinese New Year. So cool and was similar to when they decorate for Christmas. You were supposed to wear red, but I had pink panties on so that has to count for something 🙂 And at least I wasn’t wearing black which is a no no…

They have this shop just around the corner and during Christmas they were selling amazing Xmas decorations. Now it was Easter stuff and like I said when I visited the shop during Xmas, if I didn’t have a budget, I’d walk out with half of everything from that store!!!!

Angel brought over 2 big pork butts for me to smoke. They turned out superb if I may brag a little 🙂 Hunter loves fresh meat (and smoked) and he concurs!

This weeks work included me playing a maid, stepmom home from a workout, and got my latex and whip out too 🙂

Finally fixed my hair too. I kind of wait until the last minute since I don’t like sitting on my ass for too long. This hair person is very fast though, gave great book recommendations, and let’s me vape in her room so it’s not too bad!

Workouts and pickleball were great this week! On Fridays the gym has a 2h clinic where winners move up to the 1st court and stay there until they lose. On the 2 other courts the winning team splits up for the next game so you always get to play with new partners. I got lucky and ended up with the coach and he is a pro player so I got to play on court 3 for an hour since we didn’t lose. I must admit it was 90% thanks to the coach, but I didn’t totally suck either hahahaaa… And my outfit was pretty great too so I get points for that! Not sure why I’m man-spreading in both my gym pics? Must be a habit from my work LOL…

Tried a new sushi place in China Town that people have been recommending – Sushi Neko. They are so popular that they have 2 restaurants in the same square. It was great and will definitely go back!

Even better was that I found a coffee shop there too that was great – Broken Coffee. Great coffee, they stay open late and cool interior! They will see more of me too 🙂

Hunter keeps being spoiled like he’s out there saving the world daily. He loves napping close under a blanket and being fed on his heated blanket so he doesn’t have to move! Not sure when I signed up to be his servant?!?

Finished this show Paradise this week and it was great!

Next week looks promising. Got my friend Linda flying in from Sweden tomorrow 🙂 We have a girls trip to Zion National Park at the end of the week. If you’ve been there, send all tips and recommendations!

Wishing you a promising upcoming week as well 🙂
