Catching up, Easter, Rolfing…

Happy belated Easter ๐Ÿ™‚ Did you do something fun? I tried to take some cute Easter themed pics with Hunter and our bunny ears. As usual when I try to dress him up he did not feel the holiday vibe and did not play along. But an A for effort, right?

My Easter consisted of 3h of pickleball yesterday. Got carried away. This kid tried to teach me and finally I went to the squash room to hit against the wall to practice some different paddle moves hahahaaa…

On Friday I had the pleasure of some girl fun with Kayla and Monique Alexander. It was years since I saw Monique and there was a lot of catching up. We joked afterwards that we probably did about 10% shooting and 90% of laughing and going down memory lane.

Stopped by the farmers market too and saw that they put up the roller skating rink now. I really want to try it even though I know I will be horrible at it. I just want to be like Heather Graham as Rollergirl in the movie Boogie Nights! And how cute is this dog that I saw too?

That was pretty much my Easter ๐Ÿ™‚

I started organizing all the clothes I got from Shay. I am really bad at organizing because I get bored in the middle of it and find a new task, so it pretty much looks the same in the room hahahaa…

I got some beautiful rose bushes by the house and they were the inspo for my mani/pedi this week ๐Ÿ™‚

I tried a new recipe from Instagram. Dates filled with brie cheese and walnuts wrapped in bacon and then grilled in the oven. I was so excited about making them, but they turned out like crumpled dry nutsacks! I still give myself an A for effort though ๐Ÿ™‚

Dressed up, got some face paint on and got creative… Did someone call for mommy LOL ๐Ÿ˜‰

Managed to get one strength training session in at the gym last week. Why can’t you just get ripped from playing pickleball?!? I’d have at least a 10-pack now!

Got to do some maintenance too. Tried a 2h massage in the house, which actually was not a massage, but it’s called rolfing. Google said this about it – ‘Rolfing, also known asS tructural Integration,ย isย a deep tissue manipulation therapy that focuses on realigning the body’s connective tissue, or fascia, to improve posture, flexibility, and overall well-being’. It was interesting, but I think I prefer a massage . Then I microneedled my face and that was enough maintenance for last week ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t do Botox now, because I booked my trip to Prague and am having eyelid surgery there June 1st ๐Ÿ™‚

Got to whip together something to eat now and who knows, maybe I’ll organize some clothes after ๐Ÿ™‚ Probably not, but it sounded good and productive. The week is pretty open so let’s see what happens. Leaving you with this adorable dog I spotted at Petco while buying treats for Hunter and me trying my best to look adorable ๐Ÿ™‚

Laters, Puma

New hair, movies…

Happy Easter to you all! I miss the pรฅskรคgg, aka the Easter Eggs I used to get in Sweden. Like a colorful paper egg filled with candy. I always used to tell my mom not to go cheap on the candy. Made sure she went to a place with the highest quality candy. Since I always hated buying socks, my mom always put socks in my Easter egg too hahahaaa. Anyways, what do do you think of my Happy Easter cards? Hunter wanted his own one…

Also got bored of my hair so went and got it changed up. Someone told me that only crazy girls and strippers have pink or blue hair. Well, sounds like I’m somewhere right in between hahahaaa…

Got the camera out right away and made the most of the styled hair…

Since I’m hitting the beach tomorrow I dragged my butt to the gym so I can show off my soon-to-be-6-pack ๐Ÿ˜‰

I watched a lot of great movies this week. I got 2 new movie services – Arrow Player and Criterion. I really recommend them! Cool and different movies on both. I also saw the new John Wick film. Lots of action but I kind of got annoyed people were getting shot/punched etc like 50 times without dying. I got to say I prefer the 1st and 2nd one better. But action-wise it delivered.

Then on Arrow I saw ‘Millionaires Express’ (1986). It is a martial arts, western, comedy movie from Hong Kong, written and directed by Sammo Hung. It’s funny, exaggerated, and with a lot of ‘kung fu’ fighting. I’d give it 3.75 out of 5.

Then watched ‘Before Sunrise’ (1995) & ‘Before Sunset’ (2004) with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Just have to re watch the 3rd movie in the ‘series’ next Before Midnight (2014). I love these movies. I love the story and that it spans over 19 years with the same main characters. I really recommend these if you’re in the mood for some romance stuff. I rate them strong 4’s out of 5.

Then watched ‘The Executioner’ (1974). A Japanese martial arts movie where three street toughs are hired to take down a Tokyo drug dealer. A lot of action, fighting, and with great sound effects. I laughed a lot as it’s funny as well. I rate it 3.9 out of 5.

Finally watched ‘Mulholland Drive’ (2001). I like David Lynch and this was a great movie. A mystery/thriller that is a bit twisted with some weirdness in it. I really liked it. I give it 4 out of 5.

I’m also almost finished with the series ‘Better Call Saul’ and ‘The Last of Us’. I love Saul and might have to rewatch Breaking Bad after this. ‘The Last of Us’ has gotten better and more exciting the further in the series you get.

OK, going to finish my coffee and then go eat somewhere. Then packing for Puerto Escondido. Limiting myself to a carry on since I’m guessing I’ll be in a bikini most of the time ๐Ÿ™‚ Unless I locate the nude beach hehehee… Leaving tomorrow until Friday.

Hasta la vista!
