Happy Valentine a Day Late :)

Happy President’s Day too while I’m at it. Are you having a day off? Doing anything fun?

And how was your Valentine’s? I used it to make excuses why I should eat sugar all day ugh! Here are some pics of mine & Angel’s shoot where we tried our best to be, or at least pretended to be romantic 🙂 Too much fun when you get to play with your bestie!

I also had a Zoom call with a fan/friend and he knows I like mushrooms. He shows up wearing a mushroom hat, so I had to bring out mine too. I guess I can say I had a date on Valentines after all 🙂

And a video where I explain that she only had one job before the shoot – ‘don’t f*ck up’ the cookie!

Also hauled Angel, Jennifer and Ashley to IKEA with me. Pretended to cook up some meatballs in one of their display kitchens 😉

Was looking for the ‘friends’ section at IKEA. Luckily I found the 2 last ones at a discount LOL…

Also hit Mothership coffee and got smash burgers at Love Always 🙂

Did some pickleballing too. I was pretty good. Or the other people were not that good. Either way, a lot of fun! Got another clinic today, but will try to lift some weights before too!

Resting and recovery is always important. Hunter is on the same page with that. Doubt he needs recovery from anything, just resting from his street surveillance duties. He also has to make sure the neighbors cat Ocean, stays on his side of the street.

Have my friends Amanda & George in town. We tried a new Korean BBQ place called Grill Nine. I like when you have the option for All-You-Can-Eat and they also had sushi on their menu. Tasty place, but not my favorite…

Best part was to find a Korean market after. So much fun and cute stuff. And candy! I lost it to sugar the past 2 weeks and hoarded up on more sugar! I passed on the boiled pork toes!

Cameras rolled, fresh fantasies created… Just another day at the office!

In between my sugar intake I did make some heathy choices too! I made this carnivore pizza crust. The whole pizza can be made fully carnivore, but I did add tomato paste and mushrooms on mine. This is delicious and so easy and fast to make. The woman’s IG account is @itscourtneyluna if you want some healthy recipes 🙂

Today I’m cutting refined sugars again. Fot the 36th time it feels like hahahaaa… I can have stuff sweetened with honey, maple syrup or vanilla drops. I feel better when I eat real foods. When I have sugary options, I can skip a whole meal and just eat a pastry or enough chocolate and call it a meal.

Yesterday we had 14 people that went on a hike doing the Kraft Mountain Loop trail. So much fun! I put some ribs in the smoker before and made a chili for after too. Hunter loves Amanda!

Also finished the 2nd season of ‘Andor’ which I think was a bit up and down. Never been into Star Wars, but the 1st season was pretty good.

Also finished watching the series ‘The Lowdown’ with Ethan Hawk. So good and I loved it!

And lastly I finished reading the ‘The Nightingale’ by Kristin Hannah. My 3rd book in a row by her. A little slower in the beginning, but plenty of excitement as you get further in the book.

Got a hair appointment for this week and will see what else shows up my way 🙂

Laters, Puma Swede

New hair, movies…

Happy Easter to you all! I miss the pÃ¥skägg, aka the Easter Eggs I used to get in Sweden. Like a colorful paper egg filled with candy. I always used to tell my mom not to go cheap on the candy. Made sure she went to a place with the highest quality candy. Since I always hated buying socks, my mom always put socks in my Easter egg too hahahaaa. Anyways, what do do you think of my Happy Easter cards? Hunter wanted his own one…

Also got bored of my hair so went and got it changed up. Someone told me that only crazy girls and strippers have pink or blue hair. Well, sounds like I’m somewhere right in between hahahaaa…

Got the camera out right away and made the most of the styled hair…

Since I’m hitting the beach tomorrow I dragged my butt to the gym so I can show off my soon-to-be-6-pack 😉

I watched a lot of great movies this week. I got 2 new movie services – Arrow Player and Criterion. I really recommend them! Cool and different movies on both. I also saw the new John Wick film. Lots of action but I kind of got annoyed people were getting shot/punched etc like 50 times without dying. I got to say I prefer the 1st and 2nd one better. But action-wise it delivered.

Then on Arrow I saw ‘Millionaires Express’ (1986). It is a martial arts, western, comedy movie from Hong Kong, written and directed by Sammo Hung. It’s funny, exaggerated, and with a lot of ‘kung fu’ fighting. I’d give it 3.75 out of 5.

Then watched ‘Before Sunrise’ (1995) & ‘Before Sunset’ (2004) with Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy. Just have to re watch the 3rd movie in the ‘series’ next Before Midnight (2014). I love these movies. I love the story and that it spans over 19 years with the same main characters. I really recommend these if you’re in the mood for some romance stuff. I rate them strong 4’s out of 5.

Then watched ‘The Executioner’ (1974). A Japanese martial arts movie where three street toughs are hired to take down a Tokyo drug dealer. A lot of action, fighting, and with great sound effects. I laughed a lot as it’s funny as well. I rate it 3.9 out of 5.

Finally watched ‘Mulholland Drive’ (2001). I like David Lynch and this was a great movie. A mystery/thriller that is a bit twisted with some weirdness in it. I really liked it. I give it 4 out of 5.

I’m also almost finished with the series ‘Better Call Saul’ and ‘The Last of Us’. I love Saul and might have to rewatch Breaking Bad after this. ‘The Last of Us’ has gotten better and more exciting the further in the series you get.

OK, going to finish my coffee and then go eat somewhere. Then packing for Puerto Escondido. Limiting myself to a carry on since I’m guessing I’ll be in a bikini most of the time 🙂 Unless I locate the nude beach hehehee… Leaving tomorrow until Friday.

Hasta la vista!
