Friends, Shooting, School…

It’s been a fun-filled and productive week. Walking in Mexico City you always discover new places. I walked on this street before, but now I spotted a photography school. I visited them and found out that all of the scheduled courses are in Spanish; no bueno for me. They also offer tailored private classes in English, so long story short, I’m looking for a camera unless I can get the one repaired that I have. I want to take classes in lighting first and learn Lightroom. Very excited about this!

En route there, I found this amazing seafood restaurant. Not very healthy, but anything fried pretty much makes love to my tastebuds hahhaaaa….

On Tuesday I had lunch with Dayana and another friend named Camile. They laughed when I suggested lunch at noon. Latinos don’t eat lunch until later, so we planned for 1.30pm. European as I am, I was obviously on time. Both Dayana and Camile (they’re Colombians) showed up 30 minutes late. It’s not even rude here, it’s just the norm. Sometimes people ask if the time is “Mexican time”, meaning that everyone show up about an hour late. We went to one of my favorite restaurants here – Estiatorio Nostos.

They have really good seafood and I had the responsibility of finding the right fish for us!

Lunch became drinks at some bar, and whoever came up with this bird-drink-glass, where you insert the straw up it’s a*s, must be someone with a great sense humor!

Couldn’t do an all-nighter, because I rented a location for the next days shoot.

Hit the gym 3 times last week. 2 classes on Thursday and after that I needed a caffeine fix after to make it home!

A friend’s girlfriend was having her birthday, so I joined in for a drink before they headed to dinner. I prefer wearing my onesie over anything, so as I soon as I come home, I switch. I think I spend about 50% of my time in it LOL…

I met a girl here through another friend who’s a filmmaker. We’re planning to do an experimental film, and it’s going to be shot on VHS to get the old grainy feel to it. Unfortunately her camera decided to not work when we were going to shoot, so now we are waiting for her to find another ancient camera šŸ™‚

Another friend is visiting Mexico City right now, and we had a nice group that went out for dinner. Only managed to snap myself in the mirror as I came back from smoking.

After, there was some birthday dinner venue we popped in on. Weirdest place. It’s about 01.30am here, bright lights on, no music, and the place was packed. Felt more like a school cafeteria. Like why not dim the lights a bit and have some music? Strange, but fun…

I also talked to Troy in Jamaica. I want to put together a mushroom retreat in May. It was such an amazing experience there and I want everyone who’s interested to get to experience it too. I will have more info and dates in a week or two šŸ™‚ That being said, I leave you with a selfie and Hunter hard at work with me šŸ™‚

Have a fabulous Sunday and upcoming week!

One Week in Colombia

It was an intense week in Medellin, but so much fun šŸ™‚ I like to arrive early and have a full day instead of losing a day, so I booked a 5am flight and Uber picked me up at 3am.

My friends, George, Samuel and ‘Spicy Nana’, picked me up from the airport. We went straight for food. And cerveza and some local shots. I grew up with 2 Rottweilers and got to say hi to this beautiful Rottweiler named Carbon at the restaurant šŸ™‚

Our first house was in an area called Rio Negro. Very relaxing and lots of nature. I tossed my suitcase and backpack in the house, and we went to check out the hood. Had to stop the car and take a picture by this Puma sign. Felt right at home seeing the possibility of family members šŸ˜‰ Also George is remodeling a house here so we checked it out and made sure there’s room for all of us in the future!

Ended up in some small town for dinner and then this awesome bar called Shupa Shots. Of course we had to try some shots and they ranged from strong to very strong hahhaaaa…

Next day we got to work. I like when work don’t feel like work, but you just have a great time and it happens to end up on camera. Yes, it might of gotten just a bit out of hand, but hey, sometimes you just got to go with it…

We had a mushroom ceremony booked for that night. Four of us went and it was an intense and amazing experience. I will make a separate post about it. A light dinner before heading out. I was getting hangry…

We got back at 10am the next day from the ceremony and were pretty exhausted. Not much else other than napping and eating that day.

Next day I met Melody. She’s getting into the ‘entertainment’ business as well and we did a little thing together.

As soon as I went outside the house this cute and friendly cat appeared to demand my attention šŸ™‚

We then had to check out and check in at our new place in El Poblado. There’s a funny dog adoption story that happened here too, but it is connected to us tripping, so you’ll get it with the ceremony story. There was a pit stop at Amanda’s (George sister who is superfun) house on the way that resulted in me napping and then us playing Uno. I won a lot in case you wondering. I’m very competitive playing games LOL…

So our new casa looked like Scarface might of had a hand in helping to design it hahhaaaa…

It was supposed to be an ‘only-one-drink’ kind of night and saying hi to Coby who’s from Vegas and was also in town. You know how those nights can go? Very fun and we determined that Coby is way better at twerking than me…

Also checked out his casa which also was pretty unique… Yup, ‘it was all a dream…’

Next day was a full day in town with ‘Spicy Nana’ (who prefers to be incognito, but was our photo- and videographer and an old friend) and Melody. Lunching, coffee, getting nails done, shopping and dinner.

Next day more work in ‘Casa Scarface’… There are more pics, but it might a bit much Puma for you in one post. Don’t want to overwhelm you šŸ˜‰

Had dinner at a great sushi place called Niku. The dessert was a cup of Nutella, brownie and ice cream. Guess how good it was???

On Monday it was paragliding time. It was me, Amanda, Samuel, and Coby that went for it. Amanda has done it before and said how amazing it is. Thought I’d be cool as her and just be gliding around up in the sky. Topless too while filming it. I ended up screaming and was anything but cool hahahaaa… But when the guy wasn’t diving and spinning, I had moments when I was cool! Video of it is coming too.

It was a very cool experience and I’d do it again. Afterwards we packed some stuff up at the house and headed over to Amanda’s. I wanted to shoot some experimental stuff in her garden at night time. We got some pretty cool stuff and I will show it later. Here’s me with Amanda’s supercool cat with thumbs.

The last day I headed to El Poblado for some coffee and a last look around. I’ve visited Medellin and twice before and almost moved here at one point.

Since we had some time before my late flight, we made the most of it when Melody came over. Guess I’m irresistible hahahaaa…

We had one last dinner and then it was time for me to fly home. When you’re famous like me it’s sometimes good to disguise yourself to avoid recognition šŸ˜‰

Came home at 3am and Hunter was energetic as always at night, so we played a bit and then went to bed and crashed… All together it was such a great trip and I miss everyone. Hopefully I will see part of the gang in Mexico in November though šŸ™‚

Here are some leftover pics I forgot to squeeze in…

That’s it. Trip report coming next šŸ™‚ Tell me, how you been?

Kisses, Puma

Baking, shooting, taming my mane…

This is my 4th week eating pretty much paleo. My biggest goal has been to stop eating refined sugars, candy and chips. I do crave treats though, so I’ve been baking. It’s kind of relaxing and then you get to feast! I could finish the dough alone and not even bake them hahhaaaa…

Tried a new photographer/videographer this week and we shot some super cool stuff. Got plans for some more creative psychedelic-like shoots, and I think we’ll be creating some amazeballs things together šŸ™‚ Only got these so far…

Then Ximena shot my weekly naughty content šŸ™‚ Do you believe in psychics? I know this psychic lady in LA that I’ve seen a couple of times and it’s crazy how accurate she is. I’ll write about it another time and tell you šŸ™‚

Making a new mushroom jacket šŸ™‚

Finally had to succumb and go see Angel to cut my hair. It looked like it had been electrocuted while a lawnmower ran over the ends.

Went back the next day and sorted out a manicure and pedicure…

Lunch with Sanna who is a Swedish chica living here in Mexico too. She is a really good artist and we discussed if she should paint me.

Another day, another microdose…

I borrowed a projector from a friend for my shoot and also played some cat videos for Hunter. Just the popcorn missing…

While on the topic Hunter…

Gym and mostly me in pink…

Sent this to Masha who is almost a full Doctor now. This actually happened to me in Sweden one time when I was going in for a check-up of the ‘taco’. The doctor even gave me a mirror so I could follow along hahahhaaaa…

This week is my birthday wohoooo! I’m going to the woods overnight and also doing a small get together with some friends šŸ™‚

Now another cappuccino and some reading. I wish you a fabulous day/night and upcoming week!

A Trip Report

I thought I’d share my notes and thoughts from yesterday’s trip. I took a medium dosage of mushrooms with three friends. I also had some RapĆ© before because I like the clarity and calmness from it…

2pm Took 75% of a ā€˜purple owl’ chocolate mushroom that was 1.5 grams of mushrooms but it was mixed with a MAO inhibitor. Here we go…

2.23pm I read some Osho – ā€˜Last in the Evening’, before eating the chocolate and I went outside smoking and decided this trip was going to be to celebrate me. Kind of like Osho says, celebrate everything. My body and mind is just a shell…

4.30pm Pretty high. Beautiful to let go. Eating some chips now.

5.16pm A lot of thoughts, here they come…

  • Would everything be better without humans?
  • Do I need to change?
  • Is it enough to be aware?
  • What good can I do?
  • Where do you draw the line between accepting yourself as you are? What if you have depression, anxiety or something else…

5.30pm I feel exhausted…

Lied back down and let my mind drift. The question ā€œwhat is the most beautiful thing in the world?ā€ came to mind… Kept thinking about it and two things came to me –Ā  nature and freedom… I asked my friends and one of them said kindness. Another one said curiosity and wonder. The third one was processing his own trip so don’t have his input…

Around 7.30pm we all felt that the trip had ended and talked about it. Went eating and back home. Read some more OSHO before falling asleep.

A lot of people talk about integration after having a trip. What you do or how to process what you experienced during your altered state. Sometimes I don’t have so many thoughts after a trip; it can be just a recreational experience that I enjoy. But last night and today I’ve been thinking a lot about the images and thoughts that came to me during the trip. I think it has to do with reading the OSHO book.

I was thinking about what is the most important thing that I took with me from my trip. I think it’s the word compassion. In a way it was one of the most beautiful trips I’ve had. Very beautiful images, thoughts, and feelings. Sometimes I feel it’s not fair that I’m feeling so good considering how many people are suffering. During my trip, I was thinking of people in war for example. I don’t know how it would work, but I tried to say in my mind that I could take on their pain/suffering/fear for a while since I was feeling so good. Let them feel what I’m feeling, I would take on what they are feeling, and give them a break for a bit. Or that somehow we could connect and I could share what I’m feeling and my head-space.

Usually on my trips I always come to the conclusion that I have to spend more time in nature. On my walk this morning I thought about prioritizing to plan a trip to hike in Patagonia next year. But then thinking about what Osho says in the book, you don’t have to climb Everest or fly to the moon to find happiness, you need to work on your inner self right where you are. So should I just be content where I am, or should I plan a trip?

I always love these experiences as they give a lot of insight and I feel I become more aware. I will keep pondering on my questions and see what else arises.Ā

Please share if you have any memories or stories from experiencing psychedelics šŸ™‚
