Past week

A big thing happened this week! Gusto’s, one of the best coffee places here in San Juan, opened up again! It’s like 5 minutes from our place, so we pretty much visited them daily before Corona hit and they closed. They re-opened on Wednesday, and as soon as I was out of bed and dressed I walked over.

I met this awesome gentleman who rescued this cool kitten!

One of our favorite grocery stores opened it’s doors too. Almost felt like stuff is getting back to normal again! Something left on my wishlist is that Puerto Rico would open the beaches again, and that Marshall’s would open. Marshalls being my to-go-to store for pretty much everything; avocado oil, snacks (which I can not pass on because they have the line to the register lined with chips), clothes, hair products, kitchen utensils, towels, and every other unnecessary thing you can think of…

Lot of fans online now, so been a busy week as usual shooting and creating fantasies, sleazing, and teasing. I also thought everyone would be happy with a party theme, so I got a bunch of party supplies from Walmart and threw a party 🙂

Oh, I forgot to mention that I need the hairdressers to open up too. It’s getting so bad I need a wig now!

Most likely online shopping…

The whole working out thing is pretty much a fail, but I managed 2 workouts this week. One at home, and then running/sprinting up a hill. I really liked it and will try to make it a routine! Go Puma!

Saw this beautiful stingray on one of my walks too…

Other than that I’ve been reading & sewing. Now off for another walk around the lagoon. Oh, and happy Mothers Day if someone here’s a mommy 🙂

Ups & downs…

Wow, my mood is like a yoyo at times. The worst is when it gets hot in my apartment and the only place to escape is the bedroom where I have the AC constantly on. I have asked to get an AC in the living room, but it’s a bit mañana style to get stuff done here, and then Corona came… Have looked at portable AC’s too, but would need to somehow cover the window too. There’s no glass on the windows, just panels, and hot air would get in at the same time. I was shooting and I was sweating like a Finn in a sauna. My make up was melting, hair sticking to my skin… I lost my $#!t. If someone would’ve handed me a plane ticket to any place at that moment I would’ve taken a taxi to the airport asap! Luckily a coffee and a couple of cigarettes made me calm down 🙂

Oh, and don’t even think about wearing latex or plastic-y materials when sweaty! I look happy in the pictures, but it’s all for the camera hahhaaaaa…

But after rain, there’s sun, right? From having the pissiest day one day, to the next day being amazing! You know what happened? I got into Walmart!!! I tried a couple of times, but the line outside has been like an hour minimum, so I’ve always turned around. A few days ago I went in the morning and they just waved me right in. Holy shit! Never thought I’d be so happy inside Walmart! I strolled around for 2h hahahaaaa… I really wanted a sewing machine, and it was all meant to be. I got the last one! I love you Walmart!

There’s been some rain here and one day walking we got caught in the middle of it. Took some shelter, and then got a rainbow with a beautiful sunset! Shit is pretty good after all 🙂

The post office people here are serious about their masks!

Some more pics from the week and I guess pink (red) was the theme…

Cooking a lot at home, but can’t resist some Mexican now and then! And they have the best cocktails while you wait 🙂

Gonna head out for my daily walk now 🙂 Hope you all are in high spirits!

Groundhog Day

That’s what it feels like now! Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. Good morning by the way hahahaaaa… I woke up and had to spend some time figuring out what day of the week it is. Oh Saturday, yeah… Big decisions to make. What store to walk to, and which way around the lagoon do I walk today…

On the other hand, we have a big leak in the apartment. Started yesterday, and today the living room and kitchen were covered in an inch of water. The repair man came yesterday and fixed a broken pipe behind the washer and dryer. Or so I thought he did. An hour later water was coming out again. Waiting for him to come back now with the big tools 🙂

I started walking around the lagoon every day. Kind of taking the longest route possible to the store. My favorite part is to stand and watch for manatees and stingrays while on the bridge. Lately I’ve been seeing at least one of the two, and sometimes both. One day one of the manatees had this big white fish attached to it’s back! I hope it’s cleaning the manatee like the small fish that eat parasites off of sharks. I also googled about snorkeling with manatees in Florida. They are so cute and I would love to be in the water with them!

I’m supposed to be working out but it goes so-so… And sometimes we end up at the ice cream shop instead hahhaaaa… At least they’re not stingy with the Nutella!

As for shooting it’s been happening as surely as Bill Murray is awesome! Here’s a variety for you, and hopefully it makes you happy or maybe something else hahhaaaaa… Any favorites?

Yesterday we bought some mixers and made some tasty Rum & Tequila drinks! Cheers 🙂

Time to make some breakfast and I wish you all a great weekend!

Time

There’s so much time now. How to spend it? Reading, shooting, watching TV, training… But I like to fantasize about when Corona goes the f#*k away. I’m checking places on Airbnb in Lofoten, Norway, or I’m trying to find the most weird thing that you can order on Amazon. I think I’ll have better luck at the site Wish that sells all kinds of weird shit. I’m dreaming about which restaurant I’ll eat at first, and what I’ll eat. Or will I go to the beach first? Just in case, I ordered a big cool blow up floatie on Amazon. At least I will be ready when it all is back to normal 🙂

I’m happy I’m able to start training now. Starting lightly and mostly focusing on my lower body (booty) and stretching. Last night on the roof top while the sun was setting…

And I guess it’s no news that I’m shooting. Puma the secretary… I know how to play the role since I started watching Mad Men 😉

Baywatch by Puma…

Puma checking Puma out…

Puma needs to get her hair fixed hahahahaaa…

Now I’m going to stretch and then find a recipe on chocolate chip cookies. Going to put some stuff up for auction and think I might go and buy a sewing machine from Wallmart.

What you up to or what’s your plans after Corona is done?

Highlight of the Day!

I called the restaurant Tostado yesterday asking if they’re still open and if they make coffees to go too. Tostado is one of the places here in San Juan that makes great lattes. The answer was yes, and as soon as I woke up today I headed over. 2 lattes for me, 1 for Andrew. Running out of coffee beans too and took a chance on these Espresso beans. I’m in heaven now!

Another highlight this week was reading on the rooftop as the sun was going down. Not as hot as a sauna at that time and you actually enjoy being outdoors then hahhaaaa…

Watched a very good movie too and balled my eyes out. It’s called ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’. There’s a Korean version, but we watched ‘7 Kogustaki Mucize’ the remake in Turkish. This is a short description – “A story of love between a mentally-ill father who was wrongly accused of murder and his six year old daughter.” I really recommend. it!

Shot some stuff too. Pretty much the only time I dress up. Or down, depending on your flavor of fashion 🙂

What’s your Easter plans? I’m already considering if I should make another latte run before 3pm when Tostada closes hahhaaaa…

Happy Easter, Puma

Recommendations

I’ve been binging on movies, series and books at night. Thought I would recommend a couple, and feel free to share yours too 🙂

Awesome series that I started watching yesterday ‘Schitt$ Creek’. Only watched 2 episodes, but they were very funny!

I usually don’t think horror movies are that scary. This one though – ‘The Ritual’, did a pretty good job of spooking me. It also takes part in the Swedish woods 🙂

Another comedy series – ‘Community’. Really funny and Chevy Chase is great!

Also watched ‘Honey Boy’ which is supposed to be about Shia LaBeouf’s life and is written by him too. He also stars in the movie. Dark, but I liked it.

I discovered a new author – Tim Dorsey. I never read anything from him, but the stories are hilarious and weird. I loved these 2 books and have now ordered the first ones in the series. I don’t think you have to read them in order. I don’t even know how to summarize these, just that they are so good!!! You can read about them online because there’s a bunch of books by Tim.

Other than TV and books I made some tasty peanut butter balls.

Oh, and we had the picnic on the rooftop which was great!

Content never takes a break, and there’s been some live shows too. Perfect entertainment when stuck indoors 🙂

Now they require face masks here in Puerto Rico if you go to the store. Also they announced that everything will be closed here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I’m taking a walk to the store now to stock up on some Easter goodies for the weekend 🙂

Shoot, eat, repeat…

Hahahaaa, pretty much what I’m up to at home. Shooting, cooking, eating, watching movies and then back at it again. Made ribs and a frittata on Wednesday, and baked muffins yesterday 🙂

Shooting… Kind of good to shoot, because it makes me change out of my crappy clothes and brush my hair hahahaaa… Oh, and makeup saves the day 😉

A daily walk to the store too. Luckily there’s not a real shortage of things, so more baking happening today 🙂 I was also planning on throwing a small picnic up on the rooftop tonight.

I will mini review a few of the films that I watched recently. First is ‘Volver’, directed by Pedro Almodóvar with Penélope Cruz. I wasn’t very excited about it, but it was actually much better than I expected. There’s murder and a twist, and I give it 4 Puma’s out of 5.

Also saw ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ with Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei & Ryan Phillippe. Really good movie with Matthew as a lawyer defending someone who raped a prostitute. Of course it’s not all straight forward, and I’ll give this one too 4 Puma’s out of 5.

If you have movie suggestions, please share 🙂 Have a great day!

Buenos Dias :)

Beautiful day here in Puerto Rico. I’m working with the front door open getting some fresh air and sun as my company. A little bit of jetlag, but nothing 3 cups of coffee won’t solve hahahaaa…

Here’s a couple of pics from Sweden. The day before I left I went for a walk during some uncharacteristically nice weather.

One last dinner with my sis and Linda. Convinced Linda this is the safest thing to suck on during these Corona times!

I did bring my face mask too. Not sure if it actually works? This pic would also be my submission to the Instagram “challenge” where you’re supposed to post an unflattering photo of yourself for only one day…

We celebrated the waffle day in Sweden too. So good! There was a bowl left with whipped cream after. I challenged my friends’ kid to eat it all for 200kr. Like $20. Poor thing really tried, but ended up on the couch feeling sick with half a bowl of cream left. Ooops, sorry, but a challenge is a challenge 😉

Some pics that got snapped…

In reality I was walking around the house looking more like this. Sometimes at night I wondered if I even brushed my hair that day or if I should actually bother to shower hahhaaaa…

Planning on doing a daily walk to the store here so I move a little bit. Grocery stores close around 5pm here, and there’s a curfew after 7pm. Look at the beautiful flower I saw yesterday!

Oh, saw a really hilarious movie yesterday – Seven Psychopaths. It cracked me up and I love Christopher Walken! It’s a comedy with killings, stolen dogs, and a movie script.. watch it!

Also watched Get Out and it was pretty good too. It’s a horror flick, but I like my horror movies to be a little bit more bloody hahhaaaa… But worth watching.

OK, that’s it for now. I want to bake today and think about unpacking. Probably won’t happen, but at least I thought about it!

Virtual Hugs to you all!

I’m home!

Or Sweden is kind of my home too, but today I finally arrived in Puerto Rico! After 3 days and 2 nights of traveling. More and more airlines were cancelling their flights and I started thinking I’ll be unable to go home for 1-2 months. Finally found these flights with overnight layovers and decided it better work out!

Arlanda airport in Sweden was pretty much empty. Could buy food and coffee, but most places were closed down…

Got to Heathrow in London and luckily got a room at the hotel in my terminal.

Late night snack at the room and then slept like a knocked out baby!

Next morning everything was closed at Heathrow airport. Luckily Marks & Spencer had a small store and I could get breakfast and snacks.

Relieved when at the flight to Miami the next day was on the screen. Flights are being cancelled on a short notice, so couldn’t be sure until it actually was boarding…

I was suppose to have a flight to San Juan last night, but it was cancelled. So another airport hotel for 1 night. They even had a restaurant open and I was the only one eating there…

Flight this morning left 06.50am and the sky was beautiful! The clouds looked like spaceships floating ready to take over earth…. Or I just have a wild imagination hahhaaaa…

And then finally arriving in San Juan.

They took my temperature and asked a couple of questions before exiting, but that’s it. I walked to the store today and got some groceries and felt amazing wearing shorts again 🙂 More pics from Sweden coming tomorrow. Hope you all are doing good!

Kisses, Puma

I’m stuck!

Looks like I’ll be stuck in Sweden for a while. My flight was cancelled again and looks like the first available flight is in April. I miss Andrew and wish we could be together in these times, but luckily there’s FaceTime and Skype 🙂 Oh, and I don’t really get to sleep in here. My sister is an early bird and this woke me at 7am on Saturday…

Got this sweater from my friend Linda. I think it’s a perfect fit.

In Sweden we have a ‘Waffle Day’ coming up tomorrow March 25th. But we pre-celebrated. Have you ever tried cloudberries? It’s referred to as the gold of the forest here in Scandinavia. It only grows up north and it’s expensive. My mom has a friend who picked and made jam of these. It tasted amazing on waffles with whipped cream!

Supporting local businesses with my friends 🙂 My shopping is not fit to show on here hahahahaaa…

Even during these times I work. Or pretend to… A hard day at the office – cheers!

Can’t work out yet, but one can always pose by some gym equipment. 10 calories burned….

Perfect times for DIY. Hair coloring with my sister…

Take care of yourself!
