Hawaii was great and I could’ve stayed a couple of more days there 🙂 Didn’t feel I had a reset after the Holidays, but now I feel I’m ready to take on 2026!
Didn’t have time for the gym as I planned or a proper meal at home before leaving. I don’t know how I planned my time and had to resort to a pizza at the airport before flying 🙂

The flight from Vegas to Honolulu was about 6,5h. Got picked up by my friend and got a beautiful lei 🙂 I learned that you are supposed to keep the lei on as long as you are with the person that gave it to you. It might be considered disrespectful to take it off. Also not to throw it in the trash, but rather discard it in nature…

The next morning I went for a walk around the neighborhood. Needed to move and walking is the best way to discover new places I believe. Loved to step out in the warm weather and being so close to the ocean!

Spotted these geckos or lizards in a tree. They looked like something created by AI since they were so vibrant! Hunter would’ve loved to snack on one 😉

Got burgers at Teddy’s for lunch. The umami fries were soooo good!

Then we packed in the kids in the car and hit the beach. Felt good to get into the ocean again!

Got home and we went for another longer walk. I like when you are with friends who enjoy same things as you do 🙂

Barely had time to wash the sweat, beach and salt off me before it was time for dinner. We went out for dinner at Arancino. Very very tasty! My favorite was the squid ink pasta with lobster.

Next morning a coffee shop visit at The Curb. I get so happy when I get a perfect latte!

Another day, another beach 🙂 This one is called Kailua Beach and was my favorite out of the two. It was so still and their babysitter bought me a floatie that I could float around on 🙂

Also got busy digging water canals and making sandcastles 🙂

The beach knocked me out and I took a nap after. Then went to a grill and picked up some grilled garlic shrimp for dinner.

On Saturday we hit the Kuliouou Trail. Got pretty steep and hot closer to the top, but we made it! My friend kept the pace at super-speed and it probably would’ve taken me at least 20min more to the top! The reward was beautiful view and a little breather, before it was time to speed downhill!

Drove into Waikiki for lunch. I had some fresh tuna poke and it was delicious!

Dinner was a great Korean BBQ place called Hangang. Great place and food, and I ate like a champ 🙂

Had time for a walk in the morning before it was time to pack up and go to the airport. Very happy with the trip and like I said, could’ve used a coupe of more days there easily!

I guess pink was the theme for Sunday as this was me at the airport 🙂

Almost forgot, finished a book on this trip. It’s called ‘The Great Alone’ by Kristin Hannah. I had a hard time to put it down. Very exciting and intense. Loved that it takes place in Alaska that is on my bucket list to visit. This is a caption from Google – ‘A desperate family (Ernt, Cora, and Leni Allbright) moves to the isolated Alaskan wilderness for a fresh start, only to find the external environment less threatening than the father’s deteriorating mental state and abusive behavior due to his Vietnam War trauma. Survival, domestic violence, resilience, the mother-daughter bond, and the wildness of both nature and human nature.’

I started another book by the author now called ‘Winter Garden’. Haven’t read that much and it seems good, but not as great as the one I read. Will see if I continue or switch books…
This week I’m getting my a$$ back to work and the gym! Need to detox from sugar which will be very hard, ugh! I plan to do an other 72h fast starting on Friday or Saturday. I tend to loose all my willpower come the weekend, so I thought it be smart fasting then 🙂 I got ribs and a pork butt in the smoker now so I’ll get my proteins!

All the best, Puma

Aloha to you as well Beautiful plus I hope you have an awesome day 😎🤘🏻✌🏻❤️
You in Hawaii? That’s scenery on top of scenery. Amazing place. Was there over 20 years ago and cannot wait to get back. Maui was my favorite.
Awesome pics as always!!
Sounds like a wonderful time! I am glad you got a chance to get away and do a reset.
The pictures were great. Looked nice and warm!
I loved the lei that you got – the flowers were beautiful!
Glad you had a great Hawai’i trip.
Spent any time on Kauai? Pretty quiet but very relaxing…
