…God Jul, Hyvää Joulua! How are you spending your Xmas and Holidays? What’s on your wishlist from Santa or you been naughty? Santa gave up on me looong time ago hahahaaaa… Just wanted to wish you all amazing Holidays and here’s some Xmas greetings from me to you 🙂
It’s busy days here in Sweden. Trying to see and hang with my friends, family, throw in a party (or five), recover and obviously having a “fika”. Fika is in Swedish having a coffee. And maybe some bakery thingy too unless your worrying about 1000 carbs and your beach body 2020 😉
After a mellow dinner with relatives on Friday, I headed out for some wine with my friend Anton. A little wine quickly ended up popping some sparkling stuff and the party was on. Tried making new friends, but this guy was a bit stiff…
Went to a gay bar and then to Backdoor which is an awesome gay club in Stockholm. Sooo much fun and great music. I did an impromptu guest appearance on the bar topless and later arrived home missing my jacket and my Swedish phone – oooops! Shit happens, but a party is a party!
There is a legendary cafe in Stockholm. It was called Lisa’s Cafe for about 30 years. Now Lisa’s son Nicklas has opened it at a new location and it’s called Lisa’s Grabb. As in Lisa’s Son in English. They had some Christmas celebration on Saturday and today I went back for more “fika”. Everything is homemade, no fancy cappuccinos, just simple and so tasty! Don’t miss this spot if you visit Stockholm.
I hope you all will be spending Xmas with loved ones! My family are skipping Xmas gifs cause no one needs anything and it’s like exchanging money. Instead we’ll be at my mom’s eating too much Finnish foods, wearing sweatpants and maybe have a snaps or two! I’ll try to put some of my celebration on my IG stories – @thepumaswede.
…subject of surgeries, let me admit to other fixes as well. I have written before that I don’t plan to age gracefully! I love Botox, fillers and treatments. I think it’s also a bit addicting since I’m often in front of the camera. Makes me discover new dents, wrinkles, sun spots etc on my face more often that I wish hahahaaaa… Soooo, when I come to Sweden I go fix this.
On Wednesday I tried threads in my face for the first time. Felt like the corners of my mouth are hanging down. I was so nervous cause a friend of mine has done it and said it hurts like hell. First of all I hate needles and I don’t handle pain very well. Hadde the doctor, said that I don’t have a lot of fat in my face so it will probably hurt more. Well, I finally told him to just fix me up. He went in with 2 loooooong needles by my ear. A thin thread like a fishing line with small knots on it is pulled through. The thread then is pulled through and I could feel the knots go through my face-meat UGH! Pulled through and pulled up. I did survive and it wasn’t that painful after all. Happy with the results and topped it all off with some Botox 🙂
Look closely and you can see the threads coming out under my mouth. And here’s a picture of the needles and thread. If you’re in Sweden, I can recommend Doktor K for these type of treatments. They’re awesome!
Strict orders on not to open my mouth too wide for 3-4 weeks hahhaaaa… Suuuure! Anyways, I’ll try to behave for a couple of weeks!
Anyway, like my new t-shirt?
My shoot on Wednesday was a lot of fun. Will get some pics later and show you. But a couple of selfies though…
Now off to see my cousin and then I think I’ll go have some wine with a couple of cute gayboys. Puma & the twinks we call ourselves LOL…
“In September, the FDA asked Allergan to issue a sweeping recall of its Biocell Natrelle textured breast implants, warning of an increased “risk of breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL), a cancer of the immune system.”
“For decades, Allergan knew that its recalled implants were six times more likely to cause BIA-ALCL, but it continued to market these products, seemingly with little regard for the well-being of its users,” plaintiffs’ attorney Beth Fegan said.”
It’s fucking scary thinking that the company Allergan has had knowledge about this and kept it hidden! Today I went to my surgeon Charles Randqvist at Victoria Kliniken here in Sweden. I wanted to find out more and get advice on what I should do with my implants.
Dr Randqvist is one of the best and most well-known plastic surgeons in Sweden. He educates other surgeons around the world, and I have had 3 boob-jobs done by him. I have total confidence in Charles and have referred friends to him. After checking my breasts today he said they are fine, but do I want a product in my body that can cause cancer?!? Something to consider is that genetics might be why some people have gotten problems with these implants. Statistically I’m more likely to get cancer or die from another cause than my implants.
What is very annoying in this is that Allergan is not paying or compensating patients to remove or change their implants. As an example: You buy a car and the manufacturer says there’s been a recall on the model you bought since the brakes sometimes fail. But hey, you can keep driving it because not all people have problems with their brakes. But if you do want new brakes, you have to pay full price for the new brakes! Allergan does offer the clinics to give them another type of their implants for free, but I would still have to pay for the surgery. I don’t trust Allergan and don’t want any more of their implants! I guess I’ll have to get another companies implants, and will have to pay full price. I will most likely change my implants in the beginning of next year.
I also spent time talking to Dr Randqvist about how many people today offer very cheap breast and other types of surgeries. Deals to fly to some other country to get a better deal. Influencers promote surgeries and injections, but very seldom talk about the risks. Young people might not have the money and are looking for the cheapest deal. What they forget to consider is – how much does it cost if something goes wrong? What if there are problems and complications? Is there a warranty? Check-ups after surgery? What Charles told me is that there’s been a huge increase in people, not just young people, who come to him and he has to redo their surgeries because they’ve gone horribly wrong. So you got a cheap deal, but now you are paying more money to fix the mistakes and undergoing another surgery. Time off to recover, time off work, etc.
Some people consider Victoria Kliniken and Charles to be expensive. They forget to consider that he offers a warranty on his procedures. Regular check-ups and overnight stays. Last time I stayed 2 night since they thought one of my surgery scars was bleeding a little too much. Charles has also refused more injections in my lips since he thinks it will not look good on me. He did not recommend me 800cc’s and told me about the risks – no running around with no bra, they’re heavy and may sag if I don’t wear support during night too, rippling etc. That is what I consider a professional who also tells me no and tells me about the risks!
I get nothing from Dr Randqvist for writing this (I wish I got free boobs LOL). I get a lot of emails from women who ask about my boobs. They ask about clinics and I always recommend Charles. I tell people to wait a year if they don’t have the money for the reasons I stated earlier!
To finish this long post off I want to tell you about a video Charles showed me. A young girl went abroad for a deal on breast surgery. She came back to Sweden and the complications began. She came to Charles with an open wound as big as a tennis ball under her right breast. Other clinics in Sweden had denied her help. Her friend contacted Charles and begged for help. In the video the implant is pretty much hanging out of her breast. He was able to just grab it and pull it out. It was a horrid video. The clinic abroad did not offer her any type compensations and could not help her they said.
So ladies, please consider your surgeries/fillers etc well if you decide to have them. Research the surgeon and the clinic. Compare them. Ask questions – do they offer warranty, check ups, overnight stay, what are the risks etc. If you have any questions, just write me a comment here and I will happily answer. I love boobs!
Later I had some amazing wild boar for dinner. Never tasted boar before. I like the fact that they been running around in the wild and not been bred for food in captivity! Skipped the Christmas food buffet they had. Somehow I know there will be a lot more of Christmas food coming before I’m done in Sweden!
Barely any guests at the hotel so it was very peaceful there. The breakfast buffet was tasty and I was the only one there at 7am.
Took the opportunity to shoot some content there too before checking out. Never miss an opportunity to create things others will enjoy heheheee…
Straight back to the city and met up with my friend Mark Levengood and Anton. Mark is one of the most beloved people in Sweden. I love his office with all kinds of weird and fun stuff. A lot of stories, laughter and pictures!
Then I met up with a photographer I never shot with. We wanted to see if we can come up with some cool stuff to shoot. Said and done and one latte later we decided we’ll shoot tomorrow. I think it will be different and not my usual nudes or selfies 🙂
Still a bit jetlag and hope to get a good nights sleep. Don’t want to show up looking like a zombie for the shoot tomorrow!
Barely had time to recover from St Barts. Just empty my suitcase from summer clothes and repack it with sweaters and jackets for Sweden. Flew Norwegian and had a layover in Oslo. I really like their airport. Very modern and a lot of fresh options for food. I opted for the biggest latte I could get my hands on and it was probably the best airport latte I ever had! The place is called Haven if you happen to be at Oslo airport, and want a great latte!
I’ve already been told that the weather in Sweden wasn’t the best. But stepping out in this grey, cold and rainy weather made me want to take the next flight back to Puerto Rico hahhaaaaa…
But what do we Swede’s do to cheer up? We party! Took a shower, painted my face and a couple hours later I met up with Katrin. She’s one of the best party-partners one can have! Started with dinner at Bank Hotel – I recommend it! Oh, also recommend an Espresso Martini. Then hit various establishments until we had enough hahahaaa…
It was a bit tough start the next day with barely no sleep and jetlag. Perfect to head home to mom and let her feed me 🙂 And take a nap on her couch!
Then pulled myself together and my sister made some Finnish/Swedish Xmas foods and more friends came over.
Not sure if it was the foods or Snaps that made us look like this… I’m happy to have friends who don’t hold back!
WOW, what a trip to St Barts we had! I think a week of detox and rest is needed after that. Not gonna happen since I’m off to Sweden on Wednesday, but #yolo
Our friends Jeff & Ashleigh had booked restaurants, clubs, and scouted out the best beaches so the rest of us just tagged along happily! I’ve been to St Barts before for a wedding, but didn’t explore the island then. I really loved being there and will most likely go there again 🙂
First night we had dinner at Le Tamarin. Easy start and all well behaved…
If you snooze you lose! So no time for hangovers or sleep-in’s, and we got picked up and hiked down to Colombier beach. WOW! We saw goats on the hike down, and there were only a few people on the beach. I liked that they’re also cool with people being topless on the beaches! A bit of titty never killed anyone!
Some cool look out spots…
Sorry for crashing your romantic pic Jeff & Ash 😉
More eating and drinking at night. Restaurant Santa Fe, yummy!!!
Started classy and ended it even classier!
By our third day I probably had already gained 7 pounds hahahaaaa… Started with brunch at Shellona at Shell Beach. Spent some time on the beach after, and I love how clear and blue the water is around the island!
A little pre-party with the gang (as if we needed to party more) and then dinner at Hotel Le Toiny. The finale was at club Le Ti with sexy burlesque shows. Loved it and danced my ass off! Pink shoes or black ones?
I thought about sleeping in, but got #fomo. Went to Saline beach and I think that cured my hangover! Big waves and it was supposedly a nude beach, so I kept looking for naked people 🙂 Like I haven’t seen enough naked people in my life hahahaaaa…
After it was lunch at Nikki Beach. So much fun! They played great music and I danced a dinner’s worth of calories off!
Not enough sugar though, so headed into town where they had gluten-free crepes after and stuffed my face!
I didn’t know that St Barts used to belong to Sweden. I found out because I asked why they had the Swedish flag up along with the French and American ones. It was cool to see street and other signs in Swedish when in Gustavia. This sign for is for where you pick up your alcohol…
The last night there we ate sushi at Orega. I had a mountain (even though tiny and expensive) of sashimi. I also had some really good lamb and sake too.
I wanted to finish off with a blast at Bagatelle, but no one else was having the same feeling as I did. Luckily I convinced Andrew, Jeff & Ash to JUST “have a look inside”. They took a look, and then we ended up dancing away our last night! Loved it!
It was a bit rough to get up at 6am yesterday morning though. Cool to fly this small plane to St Maarten 🙂
After a delayed flight from St Maarten to Puerto Rico we finally got home. Already on my second cup of coffee, and working on a lot of stuff before I leave for Sweden!
…season and all the lights, candles, decorations, and that most people get a little nicer and smiles come easier! In Sweden you’re not supposed to set your Christmas tree up until 2 days before Christmas Eve, and then decorate it. I like to enjoy my tree for as long as possible, and last year the tree stayed up from Thanksgiving to June. It only came down because we were moving. I think this time my tree will be up for the whole year 🙂 Decorated it this weekend.
Of course I didn’t just throw some balls up in my tree, but it all had to be documented and filmed for content 🙂 In case you were wondering why I taste the #blueballs hahahaaaa…
And while in the holiday spirit and face painted, why waste it. Threw up some gold fringe curtains and shot that too…
This weekend I visited a pop art exhibit at the mall here. It was artist that had made pieces that you could interact with. I’m never one to shy away from a photo opportunity, so I went at it like a 5 year old would!
After working out yesterday I saw the chiropractor again. His name is actually Angel, which I think is as cool as being named Jesus. But after stretching me while having cups on I changed his name to Devil. It was pretty painful, but good.
Had to shoot a couple of custom videos after, and realized my backside wasn’t very photogenic! Luckily guys mostly pay attention to my front side anyways for some reason so it all worked out hahhaaaaa…
Went to the fancy mall last night because Andrew needed to get some outfits for St Bart. Andrew’s best friend is getting married there and we head out tomorrow to celebrate. I was just supposed to help and look for outfits. Instead I walked into a store and tried on a couple of dresses. The girl in the store was throwing compliments at me so I fell for it and bought them hahahaaa… Oh, didn’t take a picture of me in them, but I did enjoy the mirrors!
The couple getting married, Jeff & Ashleigh, are actually coming to Puerto Rico today so taking them for some coffee and food today 🙂
Finished 2 great books. The first one a big heavy one – “The Border” by Don Winslow. Exciting, but a lot of people to keep track of. Main character Art Keller is an old school guy fighting the Mexican drug cartel. Violence, torture, young guys with drug money, American politicians, and the police makes good action. I haven’t read the 2 previous books in this series, but I don’t feel you need to. In the video I also recommend another awesome book by Winslow – ‘The Winter of Frankie Machine’ – so good!
Also finished the book – ‘The Girl who Lived Twice’ by David Lagercrantz. I love the Millennium series, and this is the 6th and final book. I read them all and I think the first books are more exciting. Still worth a read!
I was supposed to write this yesterday, but I ran out of time before I had to head out. I wanted to ask you what you are thankful for, and share what I am thankful for.
I feel there are the obvious things that most of us appreciate and are grateful for like family, health, and friends. But another thought hit me now when reading the book “Dark Matter” by Blake Crouch. In the book there are several worlds where we exist simultaneously. Not to reveal too much, but in the book one man can enter different worlds where he exists. He is the same, but different realities, situations, and the world is also different. That made me think that if I could choose to step into another reality, what would I choose? To be royal? A billionaire? To be famous for something else? To be married to Quentin Tarantino? Live in the future? I was thinking of different scenarios and came to the conclusion that I’m perfectly happy where I am now, with what I have in my life and with what I do. I wouldn’t change it. That feels pretty good to me. OK, for a day I might want to check myself out in the year 2050 to just now what’s there. So I guess I’m thankful that I feel that I am right where I want to be. How about you? Would you rather be someplace else? Do something else?
Yesterdays potluck for Thanksgiving was awesome. Met new people, we ate, drank, and shared stories about how we all ended up in Puerto Rico. I did manage to mix too many drinks so I was not too thankful for the headache this morning 🙁 Wish I could blame someone other than myself…
No Black Friday shopping for me today. I want things, but I don’t need them (or maybe I’m just too hungover to head out), so instead I’ll be watching some Game of Thrones and eating chips 🙂
