What a Week :)

First off I tried a new trail in Calico Basin last Sunday. It was so awesome and beautiful. It’s called Kraft Mountain Loop and takes about 2,5h. In one part of it you walk on a riverbed and you are surrounded by beautiful striped rocks and mountains. Already gathering people to go back there another time!

Decided on the hike that I might as well start my 72h fast too. It was pretty freaking hard this time! I think my mistake was going to the gym on Monday and working out for an hour and then playing pickleball for 2h after. I think it drained me and I felt pretty hungry the whole duration of the fast. BUT, I did it! The result, no bloat and like last time, I wasn’t tired, but have to remember to take it a bit easy in the gym while fasting!

I found this place close by where you paint pottery. I asked my neighbors to come with me and we all loved it! They had a bunch of different things to choose from to paint. I need more coffee mugs so I picked one. There are a lot of different techniques and in between creating you have to dry the paint up before adding more. Now our pieces are drying and cant wait to see how it turns out. Can you guess which one of the mugs is mine LOL…

I bought a membership to the place and plan to make more stuff! I can really recommend trying this with your friends!

This week was an overload of shooting! First on my own… Thanks for my fabulous chef’s outfit Danny 🙂

Then more stuff with Angel. We also had a suite to utilize and Greg, the great photographer, showed up too. I’m just showing some of it here but I have so much more. Just haven’t had time to go through it all yet.

I also bought us these cute cookies. I thought we could shoot some cute Valentine’s stuff. One got ruined before I even left the cafe. I then told Angle to carry the other one in the box so it would not get smashed. She had ONE job, to carry the box! Next thing I know she has it tucked under her arm and you can’t even read the text hahhaaaa… I still think we made it look cute 🙂

Not sure what I said, but Angel looked like she was ready to stab me , so I drew a knife in her hand LMAO…

Since it was the Superbowl yesterday, we went with the theme!

Did you watch the Superbowl? Angel knows someone, who knows someone, so we had tickets to go watch it at Aria with Greg. There was so much food and desserts that I could use another 72h fast now hahhaaaa… It was great though!

Got these cool metallic nails done too, nap time, late night selfie, me and Hunter doing neighborhood watch, and me stuffing my face with a strudel 🙂

I think that covers it. My current plan is to get some organizing done. Things and clothes are all over the place. Got a pickleball clinic later today and plan to try some new recipes I found on Instagram 🙂 Are you celebrating or doing something on Valentine’s on Saturday? I might dress Hunter up and we can feast on some tuna & chocolate 🙂

Have a great week!

  1. Wow!! The colors on those rocks are absolutely insane. What a beautiful spot. Not into hiking but if you were part of the equation, I could definitely be persuaded.

  2. February is a jam-packed month for me:
    3rd – my grandson’s birthday (he turned 7)
    8th – my late mother’s birthday.
11th – My wife’s and my wedding anniversary (number 42).
    14th – Valentine’s Day.
19th – My oldest son ‘s birthday (he has the grandson) mentioned above.
    27th – My wife’s birthday.

So we are heading to my oldest son’s place for a “Happy February” weekend.

Have a good rest of your week.
